Vale Cricket Club & Community Hub
Vale Cricket Club is situated in the picturesque village of Corntown, offering a peaceful setting with easy access for those traveling from across the Vale of Glamorgan and beyond, the club provides ample private parking, baby changing facilities, and full accessibility features, including disabled facilities (downstairs only) ensuring all guests can enjoy our spaces comfortably.
We host a wide variety of functions, including wedding receptions, engagement parties, anniversaries, birthdays, reunions, wakes, and christenings. Whatever the occasion, our team is here to help you create a memorable event. Our versatile function space has a capacity of up to 100 guests. There are 2 main areas for hire all year round, with The Dale Marquee available for larger-scale events during the summer months:
The Upper Floor
Featuring three large patio windows that flood the room with natural light, this space provides access to a private balcony.
From here, guests can enjoy tranquil, panoramic views of the cricket square and the surrounding countryside. This level also includes a private kitchen equipped with running water, a fridge, and a kettle—ideal for independent catering needs.

The Lower Floor
Home to our fully stocked bar, this area opens out onto a spacious veranda. Like the balcony above, it overlooks the cricket square and grounds, offering a perfect indoor-outdoor flow for any event. Overhead projection and TC screen available. There is a fully equipped kitchen of professional catering along with male and female changing rooms and showers.

The Dale Marquee
Adjacent to the clubhouse is a large, beautifully maintained grassed area—perfect for enjoying a refreshing drink while overlooking the cricket square.
This space is ideal for lawn parties, we also offer our marquee (sponsored by Dale Maintenance) to hire for larger-scale events during the summer months
We also can arrange any catering requirements you may have to suit your budget.
Our facilities are also available for daytime hire, perfect for community classes (such as toddler groups or fitness sessions like Pilates and Yoga), as well as board meetings, training sessions and seminars.
The club is equipped with modern AV technology, including a large screen and connectivity for presentations.
