Vale Cricket Club welcomes new senior and junior players of all abilities.

New Senior and Women's and Girls' Members

​

Our Senior 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th XI teams compete in the South East Wales Cricket League, whilst our Midweek T20 side compete in the Vale of Glamorgan Midweek League. These teams are open to all members aged 12 (for juniors currently part of the pathway setup) or 13 (for juniors not part of the pathway setup) and upward. Our senior teams train at Corntown on Thursday nights during the cricket season, between 6pm and 8pm.

Our Women's 1st XI (hardball cricket) team compete in the South Wales Women's Cricket League and is open to Women and Girls aged 12 (for juniors currently part of the pathway setup) or 13 (for juniors not part of the pathway setup) and upward. Our Women's 1st XI train at Corntown on Friday nights during the cricket season, between 6pm and 7.30pm.

Multiple friendly matches are also played throughout the season, providing a mix of T20 and limited overs cricket. All playing members of the club are welcome to make themselves available for these friendly fixtures and no league registration is required to play.

​If you decide to join, regardless of whether you would like to play friendly or league cricket, then you will need to register on the Play-Cricket platform at http://vale.play-cricket.com.

You will also need to be registered with the respective cricket league, if you wish to play league cricket for the Senior and Women's league sides.

New junior members

Vale Cricket Club has over 150 junior registered players competing in the Cardiff and Vale Junior Cricket league and the Cricket Wales Girls League. New members are welcome and we field mixed (boys & girls) Under 9, 11, 13 and 15 softball and hardball sides as well as dedicated girls Under 10 and 12 softball and incrediball/hardball sides.

Vale Cricket Club also runs the ECB Dynamos and All Stars programs and more information about these programs can be found on the Cricket Wales website here.

Our junior sides train on various days of the week, but our All Stars, Dynamos, U9, U11 and U13 teams train on Friday nights throughout the cricket season, starting at 6pm and you are more than welcome to come along, soak up the atmosphere, chat to our coaches, members of the club, parents of our junior members, or alternatively please click on the link below to find out more!
