I’m delighted to share the date of our next Vice Presidents & Sponsors Sporting Dinner, which will take place on Friday 27th February 2026 at Vale Cricket Club.

We’re very pleased to welcome horse racing trainers Christian Williams and Tim Vaughan as our guest speakers. They’ll be giving us a fascinating insight into the sport — and hopefully sharing a few handy tips ahead of the Cheltenham Festival!

The evening will be hosted by John-Paul Davies, and alongside raising funds for the club, proceeds from the raffle will also support the wonderful Welsh children’s cancer charity, LATCH.

Full event details will be shared early next week, but I wanted to give you advance notice of the date and offer you the opportunity to secure your place or table before the event is opened to the wider club membership on Friday 16th January. From past experience, this dinner is always very popular and sells out quickly.

The evening will begin at 6:30pm, with a smart-casual dress code. Our meal will be prepared by Tracy Sanderson from Vale Catering, and menu options will be shared at the time of booking.

Tickets are available at £45 per person or £450 for a table of 10. As part of their membership, Vice Presidents will receive one complimentary ticket for this event.
